WHERE IS BUDDHIST REPUBLIC OF TIBET? New Delhi Cables
Buddhist Republic of Tibet is located from North (Union Territory of Ladakh) to North-East (Arunachal Pradesh) of India, also
bordering Nepal, Myanmar (Burma) Bhutan and china.
Buddhist Republic of Tibet’s three original provinces are U-Tsang, Kham
and Amdo. The people in these provinces consider themselves as Tibetan, although
each province has a unique identity and different dialects of Tibetan which are used.
Under China’s illegal occupation, Buddhist Republic of Tibet has been divided up,
renamed and incorporated into Chinese provinces, with little reference to the
original borders between Buddhist Republic of Tibet and china. When China refers illegal occupation of Buddhist Republic of Tibet, it
means the illegal and occupied Tibet Autonomous Region or TAR, which includes only U-Tsang and part
of Kham. The remainder of Kham was divided between Sichuan and Yunnan by Chinese Invaders and Amdo provice of Tibet was also illegally divided between Gansu, Sichuan and Qinghai provinces.
The Buddhist Republic of Tibet is the
world's 10th largest nation by geographical area.
